Fashion Design Lecturers
Responsibilities:
- Design course curriculum materials for lessons in Fashion Design Plan and deliver these lessons in a clear and appropriate manner
- Monitor and endeavor to maintain high student moral and motivation Ensure student discipline
- Assist with school promotional activities
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design or equivalent from a recognized academic institution
- 5 years industry experience with a credible portfolio
- Preferably 2 years lecturing experience in Fashion Communication & Co-ordination, Fashion Design, Illustration, Pattern Drafting & Draping, Sewing Techniques, or other relevant areas of study Dynamic and enthusiastic
- With an interest to nurture students and to help them achieve their potential Creative with an ability to adapt to a multi-cultural setting and to handle students of different nationalities
- Willing to relocate to one of our Asian campus
Program Director/Course Coordinator, Fashion Design
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
1. Provide active, innovative, academic leadership of the aviation management Program, and ensure the growth and efficient operations of the department.
2. Collaborate with faculty to develop teaching materials and deliver high quality, effective aviation course modules. This includes maintaining an academic curriculum that enables students to be successful within their specific fields of study, and future careers.
3. Direct overall program operational growth and management, and contribute to the professional image of the School.
4. Supervise department academic staff, placement, delivery and evaluation processes.
5. Provide engaged support to students as needed.
6. Organize and assist with School promotional and recruitment activities as needed.
7. Participate in professional development activities in order to remain current in practice and theory, and to contribute to the subject area.
8. Support the professional growth of faculty and model best practice at all times.
9. Abide by the School’s Policies and Procedures.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor in Aviation Management studies or closely related field.
2. Fluid and effective communications in Mandarin and English.
3. A willingness to relocate to Langfang, China for a 2-year term (renewable).
4. At least 8 years aviation combined management and instructional experience in a College or University setting.
5. An ability to adapt to a multi-cultural setting and exceptional interpersonal skills.
